Clinton Daniel and Vivian Sessoms who wowed TIFF fans last year,
will return to the stage.
The eighth annual Teaneck International Film Festival’s big party will be a Red Carpet Gala, Cinema and Song II, Saturday, November 16, 8:30 PM, at Teaneck’s Temple Emeth (1666 Windsor Road), which will be transformed into a beautiful venue. Returning to the stage are Vivian Sessoms and Clinton Daniel, performers extraordinaire, producing a program of songs from the movies sung in front of clips from films that we have known and loved.

“Selections will include music from some of the best known classic films of all time,” says Ms. Sessoms, who promises that there will be something for everyone this year.

Dessert and coffee will be served after the concert and those who want to stay will be invited to take to the dance floor. Those who donate $25 or more in advance (checks made out to TIFF and mailed to TIFF c/o The Puffin, 20 Puffin Way, Teaneck NJ 07666, by November 10) will receive an invitation for two. The price at the door will be $18 per person.

Vivian Sessoms has been described as vivacious, vibrant, and vigorous. She has sung with many of the world’s most famous musicians - Stevie Wonder, Chris Botti, Cher, Natalie Cole, Sinead O’Connor – to name a few. Since last year’s production of Cinema and Song, she has been traveling the world – from Monte Carlo, to Russia, to California – in support of her solo career. She has appeared with Christina Aguilera at Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People gala and toured with Joe Cocker. She will debut her new CD, Heart, in the Spring.

Vocalist, writer, producer Clinton Daniel has been performing since the age of six, when he sang and played piano at his family’s local Baptist Church. He is described as “one of the hottest talents in New York period” and “one of the most unique R&B/Funk vocalists around” by Intrinsic Music Group. He worked for KissFM New York wake-up band as the lead vocalist; was the opening act for Boyz II Men and Cece Peniston; and has performed with a long list of seasoned professionals.
